I love living in such a magical place.
Valdez Ice Caves
Had fun playing with fire and ice.
Old Town Valdez
Beautiful drive to work this morning
Fog, rain, mountains, and pure bliss.
Salmon at the Valdez Fish Hatchery
Took a quick drive to the other side of the bay during lunch. Salmon are in full run and seals are enjoying the sun.
Really fun project
I’m in for one. I think it will be a great way to teach my children the art of photography. Makes you take some time to think about each photo and the framing.
Great work and gives me several ideas to try on the glaciers nearby.

Near Glennallen Alaska my wife and I were treated to a small heard of Caribou / Reindeer. They were about 60 yards from the road and did not mind too much about having their photo taken.
It’s an amazing site to see them in the wild.
The reindeer, also known as the caribou in North America, is a species of deer with circumpolar distribution, native to Arctic, sub-Arctic, tundra, boreal and mountainous regions of northern Europe, Siberia and North America. This includes both sedentary and migratory populations.
